A small corner for bridge and other interests beyond research.
Bridge
I was very into bridge during my PhD and undergraduate study. I have represented:
- Hong Kong Open Team, ranking 8th in the 51st APBF Championships.
- Hong Kong Youth Team, winning a bronze medal in the 8th Asia Bridge Open Congress; ranking 4th in the 20th APBF Youth Championships; and ranking 11th in the 16th World Youth Teams Championships.
- Beijing Youth Team, winning a silver medal in the 2014 China Bridge Youth Championship.
- Peking University, winning a gold medal in the 2014 China Universities Bridge Championship.
I have translated two technical books into Chinese:
- Conventions after a Major Suit Opening 《一阶高花开叫后的约定叫》
- Conventions after a Notrump Opening 《1NT开叫后的约定叫》
The Principle of Restricted Talent and Other Bridge Stories is my favorite bridge book.
